I bought the vinyl LP shortly after "Let's Go!" came out. "The Reducers" sounds better to me now than it did then. It includes Reducers classics such as "Better Homes and Gardens" and "Out of Step." This was the best punk band I ever heard. It is wonderful to be hearing "The Reducers" again.

Power pop is a pretty formulaic genre -- a glorious formula, but still, predictable enough that lots and lots of bands can pull off a "perfect" blend of melody, harmony, jangle and crunch a time or two in the course of their careers. But I can't name another record that hits the magic spot EVERY SINGLE TRACK. This is so f$%#ing good.
